International Artexpo New York announces new location and dates for 2010NEW YORK -- International Artexpo New York, the world's largest fine- and popular-art fair, announces its return to New York with a flesh look and new location in 2010. Following The Armory Show and The Architectural Digest Show, International Artexpo New York will be held March 25 to 28 at Pier 94, completing the convention center's month-long, critically acclaimed offering of exciting and influential art fairs in New York City. Artexpo New York expects to host more than 600 innovative exhibiting artists, galleries and publishers from across the globe. These exhibitors will showcase exciting original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclees, lithographs and more, ranging from $100 to $100,000--all under one roof. Artexpo New York remains the only trade show to offer industry professionals access to thousands of works at wholesale prices. The first two days of the show will be open to the trade only with the last two days open to the trade and general public alike. In its constant effort to seek ways to improve the show experience for its trade at tendees and exhibitors, Artexpo will introduce new initiatives and dramatically expand its services, tools and information to better serve artists and galleries. The 2010 International Artexpo Education Series will offer three days of seminars and conferences in two state-of-the-art theaters. These courses will offer expert perspectives on subjects ranging from art and the economy, small-business management and art marketing to social media for artists and more. A full schedule of programming will be released soon. The popular SOLO show will also return with more than 250 of the world's top emerging, independent artists. A new addition to this year's SOLO show will be a SOLO jury composed of influencers and trendsetters from the design, fashion, art and culture worlds, who will critique and nominate SOLO's "Best in Show."
